HS Product Options & Variants “the App” provides custom product options “the Service” to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

Shop – Information about your store

Products – Information about your store’s products

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

Install/uninstall date and time

Ad click date

Additionally, we collect information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, and email address, web browser details, and session recordings; Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

The Way We Use Personal Information If you submit Personal Information to us through the Site: We will use your Personal Information to improve our services to you, to contact you and to identify and authenticate your access to the Site's services that you are authorized to access. We may transfer your Personal Information within the Site or to the Site's third-party service providers, but only to provide services on the Site or to you, such as processing credit cards or offering customer service through a chat feature. If you choose not to provide the Personal Information we request, you can still visit many parts of the Site, but you may be unable to access certain options, offers, and services that involve our interaction with you.

Access, Accuracy & Retention To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, we wish to maintain accurate and complete Personal Information. If you have an Account, you may log-in to your personal profile at any time and add information, delete information or correct any incorrect information we have. We do retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

Third-Party Marketplaces When you purchase one of our products through a third-party marketplace such as Shopify, we collect information about your store along with your email address. We use this information to communicate with you and provide customer support when you contact us.

Customer Testimonials We post customer testimonials, comments, or reviews on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information.

Children's Privacy The Site is not intended for or structured to attract children under the age of 18. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect or process Personal Information from anyone we know to be under 18 years of age.

In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy In the event that a part of our company is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how your Personal Information is treated, transferred, or used. We collect this information for the business and commercial purposes described in the Personal Data Use section above. ShopPad does not sell (as such term is defined in the CCPA) the personal information we collect (and will not sell it without providing a right to opt out). Please note that we may use third-party cookies for our advertising purposes as further described in our Cookies and Advertising section above.

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request, free of charge, to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect (including how we use and disclose this information), to delete their personal information, to opt out of any “sales” that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
